Sleeping facilities include: Freshly made beds for your arrival, towels and tea towels (excluding beach towels), modern cots, highchairs and stairgates. Please note cot linen is not supplied.
Entertainment: Nicam stereo with remote control, CD player/tape/radio, widescreen TV and video, DVD's. Video and DVD hire - free.
Kitchen appliances/facilities: Electric cooker, fridge freezer, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, iron and ironing board
Other: Central heating, electric fires, barbeque, outdoor furniture, payphone, games and library, Tourist information area, town and ordinance maps. Free onsite laundry area.
Swimming Pool
Treaslake boasts it's very own private indoor swimming pool, so what better way to entertain the children or relax. It is open from 9.00am to 7.00pm or dusk. The water is heated to 32 degrees and the pool measures 13' x 26'. The pool is only permitted for use by cottage guests. Many children learn to swim in the pool at Treaslake and will be awarded with a certificate if they do!
Gardens and Grounds
The cottages at Treaslake are located within a beautiful garden setting, with plenty of level grass for the kids to play on. There is also a traditional English cottage garden that features fruit trees, vegetables and cottage borders.
Enjoy a tasty barbecue with a traditional charcoal bbq or an easy to use gas barbie, or relax in a quiet corner of the garden.
Play Area
The grounds at Treaslake cottages are all off the road and completely private, so play tennis on the lawn if you want. There is also an adventure playground where the kids can play, swing, climb and slide.
Pets and Wildlife
Great care is taken to run the holiday cottages at Treaslake in harmony with the surroundings. You may spot hares, deer, buzzards or mallards during your stay. The free range breed of poultry kept on the grounds at Treaslake love to scratch around the gardens. However the characters most popular with guests seem to be the very friendly pigmy goats and angora goats. They are kept in a safe petting paddock and love to be hand fed.
